  The Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal has officially launched the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme"  in the second phase to further enrich the agriculture sector of Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" from the Nabanna meeting room. Money from the 2021 "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" reached the hands of a few farmers on Thursday. According to the notification, festival bonus of Rs 4,500 will be given to state government employees in the academic year 2020-2021. All schools in West Bengal will be closed from Tuesday(20/04/2021). The state education department has taken this decision as the corona infection is on the rise. Government schools in the state are starting summer vacation from Tuesday. This holiday will last indefinitely(until further instructions). A notification in this regard has been issued on Monday(19/04/2021) afternoon. Schools were closed for about 9 months last year due to the Covid situation. Schools were reopened in February this year as the Covid situation came under some control. However, only the students of class IX to XII were taking classes following the rules of Covid.
