The West Bengal state government wants to appoint primary teachers before the 2021 assembly polls.  On November 11, Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the West Bengal Board of Primary Education would soon start the process of recruitment of primary teachers in the state.  After 2017, job seekers in the state are naturally happy with the announcement of primary teacher appointments. The West Bengal government last took the Primary TET exam in 2015.
