Krishak Bandhu Scheme 2021

 The Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal has officially launched the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme"  in the second phase to further enrich the agriculture sector of Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" from the Nabanna meeting room.


Money from the 2021 "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" reached the hands of a few farmers on Thursday.


Addressing the farmers, Mamata said, "We are by the side of the farmers in every way. The peasant movement has been going on in the country for the last 6 months. Bengali is his exception. Another 20 lakh farmers will get Kisan credit cards. 70 lakh Kisan credit cards have been issued. 50 thousand acres of fallow land has been made cultivable. A total of 62 lakh farmers under the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme". 2 lakh will be given for the death of farmers.


The Chief Minister promised to do more for the farmers when he returns to power in the state. Allowance for "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" will be increased. He made all such promises during the election campaign. After returning to power, "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" was approved in the state cabinet meeting last week. The cabinet gave the green signal to double the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" allowance from Rs 5,000. Then on Thursday the work of paying the money of "Krishak Bandhu Scheme" was officially started.

Krishak Bandhu Scheme eligibility


If a farmer has more than one acre of land, the state government will deposit money (Rs. 10000) in Krishak Bandhu Scheme every year in that farmer's bank account. If it is less than one acre, 4000 rupees will be deposited in the bank account. Also, sharecroppers or Bhagchasi will get the benefit of Krishak Bandhu Scheme.



Death benefit of Krishak Bandhu Scheme


In case of death of a farmer registered under Krishak Bandhu Scheme, the nominee or family member will get a lump sum of Rs. 2 lakhs.

Formula: Suppose a teacher has been in employment for "N"  years since joining. Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.  Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers.
