You are aware that at the initial stage of students’ data entry in Banglar Shiksha Portal, guardian’s name was mandatory instead of parents’ names though at present both the parents’ names are mandatory fields. It is noted that Father’s name is essential in case of issuance of Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate in respect of a student. Now, it has been observed that a huge number of students are there in many schools whose parents’ data need to be updated. It has also been observed that the gender of the student is incorrect and therefore need to be rectified. It is also pointed out that as per previous instruction, mobile numbers of all students need to be verified and updated, if needed.
