According to the current pension rules of the West Bengal State Government, pensioners and family pensioners can withdraw their pensions from the pension accounts of the respective banks through checks or withdrawal slips of those banks. As per previous notification, pension withdrawal facility was not provided using ATM / debit card or using net banking. However, considering the current pandemic situation, the issue of pension withdrawal using ATM / Debit Card or Net Banking is under consideration of the State Government. Therefore, after reconsidering the previous decision, it has been said in a notification that from now on, the pensioners and family pensioners of the state government will be able to withdraw their pension using ATM / Debit card and net banking from the pension account in the banks mentioned in Annexure-A of this notification.
