'Student credit card Scheme' got clearance in the Cabinet The 'Student credit card Scheme' is one of the manifestos announced by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Hon'ble Mamata Banerjee in the 2021 Assembly elections. Earlier, the grant of Krishak Bandhu Scheme was doubled, Duare Ration, Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme was approved by the Cabinet. On 24th June, the 'Student credit card Scheme' was approved by the Cabinet. Purpose of 'Student credit card Scheme' Students can apply for the 'Student credit card Scheme' for higher education. Students can take loans for higher education like undergraduate, postgraduate, engineering, MBBS, vocational training, diploma course, doctorate etc. Students can take loans from any institution in India or abroad with the help of 'Student credit card Scheme'.
