The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBCSSC) is entrusted with the task of issuing recommendation letters for transfer of teaching and non-teaching staff through the "UTSASHREE" portal since August 2021. In the past one year, WBCSSC has transferred more than 19000 teaching and non-teaching staff (general transfer only) apart from Mutual Transfer. However, there are grievances as well on the part of the applicants. The main reasons behind such grievances can be classified into the following heads:


1. Delay in getting recommendation at WBCSSC end.

2. Sending back of applications to the Dls from WBCSSC.

3. Rank related issues.

4. Others.


The present portal is being launched to address such grievances of applicants to ensure a more transparent and smooth functioning in respect of 'Utsashree-related work. Please register your grievance by clearly mentioning:


a) Your employee Id

b) Transfer application code

c) Mobile Number

The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. CASUAL LEAVE for West Bengal PRIMARY SCHOOL Teacher

Primary & High School teachers get different types of leave during their Service life.  The Government has its own circular according to the Department about all those leaves.  As such, the School Education Department (Elementary and Secondary Branch) has a specific memorandum on all leaves, where the Rules & Regulations of all leaves are mentioned.  School Education Department Primary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 453-SE(Pry.), Dated- 04/05/1999 and Secondary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 1541-Edn(S)/21-2/77, Dated-  15/12/1977 and here the Leave Rules of Non-teaching Staff are also mentioned. Allowance for polling personnel in West Bengal Assembly elections 2021

  This time the allowance of polling personnel is not increasing in the assembly election. During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the presiding officers had an allowance of Rs 350 per day and the polling officers Rs 250 per day. That allowance is in this assembly election. However, this time Rs 170 will be paid for the cost of food on the day of polling. It is Rs 20 more than before. Polling personnel are naturally upset as the allowance has not been increased. Currently the market price of everything has gone up. The Election Commission has issued a notification regarding the allowance. It has been reported that the polling personnel will get the same rate for the three-day training. There will be two days' allowance for polling. polling personnel will receive money for the day before the vote. A total of five days' money goes to the employee's bank account.
