Schedule and Syllabus of summative evaluation 2022 in Primary school

Due to the pandemic, schools in West Bengal were closed for a long time. Normal reading has been reintroduced in schools.

Instructions have come from the Board of Secondary Education for Summative evaluation 2022 in high schools.

On 8th April, West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has issued a notification regarding Summative evaluation of 2022. This notification mentions the rules and schedule of Summative and Formative evaluation of 2022 academic year in Primary schools.

NOTIFICATION FOR

PRIMARY SCHOOL- BASED EVALUATION GUIDELINES-2022


This is to notify for all concerned that in terms of the Memo of the Department of School Education -

41-SSE 2022 dated 14.2.2022 read with No. 205 BPE 2022 dated 11.02.2022  the primary schools in the state have started functioning in completely normal offline mode w. e. f. 16.02.2022 after a gap of nearly two years, having already lost one and half months from the academic calendar of 2022.


the above context it has been apprehended that the primary school in the state under the control of the

District Primary School Councils Primary School Councils, may require the preserihal guidelines regarding evaluation as a part of the whole process of learning in primary schools.

Therefore, it is notified that….


  • Term wise prescribed syllabus in each subject area will have to be followed in terms of effective classroom transactions in accordance with the prescribed methodology.


  • After effective classroom transactions of each term wise test materials /topics /content in each subject/area , there will be one each Summative Evaluation in the prescribed manner, which shall be preceded by three Formative Evaluations (F1, F2, F3).


  • Summative Evaluations will have to conducted on the questions to be prepared by each school in line with the Expected Learning Outcomes and actual/achieved Learning Outcomes per the following schedule:

Home District transfer for primary school teacher

______________New Update_______ Intra and inter District Transfer list The first list of all the primary teachers who have applied for transfer to The Commissioner of School Education in Bikash Bhavan since last December, 2021 has been published. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 and 11-12

Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.  Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers. Uniform Distribution on Banglar Shiksha Portal

  School Hol Login for Uniform SCMS on Banglar Shiksha Portal In the School Hol login, there would be 'Uniform SCMS' menu at the left menu panel clicking upon which following type of dashboard would appear. Hol in respect of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary Schools has the responsibility to issue work orders in favour of concerned SHG and update the status of the same in the online system. Click on the 'Work Order Issued' tab. List of all tagged SHGs would be available therein.  Then click on 'Submit' button in respect of the concerned SHG for which work order has been issued to update the status as 'Yes'. Following type of screen would appear in this regard. After getting delivery of the school uniforms, concerned Hol of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary School has the responsibility to acknowledge the same in the online system. Maternity Leave for West Bengal Primary and High School Teacher

In this blog, I have discussed Maternity Leave.  This leave is applicable to female teachers of primary and secondary schools, non-teaching female staff.  However, there are separate notifications for female teachers or non-teaching female staff of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools.  Through the Latest Notification of Maternity Leave, Maternity Leave of female employees of various departments has been increased to 180 days. Notification of Maternity Leave    Primary Education Branch Department Latest G.O No.  573-SE(Pry.)/10R-1/99 dt.  15.09.2011. Secondary and HS Education Branch Department Latest G.O No.  is S/148 dt.  03.06.2011. The rules for teachers of all departments are almost the same regarding Maternity Leave.
