Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10

The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.



 Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers.



According to informed sources, if the SSC can prove the transparency of the appointment in this merit list, then the High Court will give clearance for the next appointment.  The case is scheduled to be heard on July 20.  If the court is satisfied with the merit list, the High Court can take the SSC data room from the CBI and hand it over to the SSC, informed sources said.  In that case the next recruitment process will start.  The court had directed the SSC to hand over the data room to the CBI due to an investigation into recruitment corruption.

Merit list of SSC SLST 11-12


The school service commission published the merit list with breakup marks on the orders of the court.  SLST 11-12 teacher recruitment merit list with breakdown of breakup marks i.e. academic marks, written exam marks and interview marks has been published by SSC as per court order.

 Getting access to the server was very important for this number splitting.  The court directed to publish the list of candidates appearing in the merit list of class XI-XII along with marks obtained in written, viva and educational qualification.  SSC published the list as per the court order.  The list of waiting candidates has also been released.

The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). Uniform Distribution on Banglar Shiksha Portal

  School Hol Login for Uniform SCMS on Banglar Shiksha Portal In the School Hol login, there would be 'Uniform SCMS' menu at the left menu panel clicking upon which following type of dashboard would appear. Hol in respect of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary Schools has the responsibility to issue work orders in favour of concerned SHG and update the status of the same in the online system. Click on the 'Work Order Issued' tab. List of all tagged SHGs would be available therein.  Then click on 'Submit' button in respect of the concerned SHG for which work order has been issued to update the status as 'Yes'.   A memorandum regarding Admission has been published on 25/11/2020 from School Education Department (W.B.) in Banglar Shiksha Portal. Sekhar setu ( শেখার সেতু ) for primary school

  Educational institutions in West Bengal were closed for two years due to the pandemic. It has finally been opened to students in primary schools from February 2022. But the education department has brought a special bridge material to fill the gap of two years of study for the students. This bridge material has the concept of important topics of the previous two classes. This bridge material is named " Shekhar setu" (শেখার সেতু) .
