West Bengal Education Department has added a new module called "List of Ex-students" in Banglar shiksha e-portal.

Students who have completed HS, their names will be in this module.


How to open "List of Ex-students" module?


Log in to Banglar Shiksha e-portal with School I'd.


Click on the "Student Management" option in the Main Navigation menu.


"List of Ex-students" located under Student Management, click on it.

New Student entry for the 2021-22 academic year has started at Banglar shiksha portal. How to make a student entry in Banglar Shiksha portal, is discussed below. Before completing the student entry, complete the following topics first. (A) Fill DCF correctly. Download DCF form from Banglar shiksha portal, fill it correctly. Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.  Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers. It is informed that besides direct online data entry, provision for bulk uploading of data in respect of students’ DCF entry in Banglar Shiksha Portal has now been enabled in a modified excel format which is available in the home page as well as in the ‘Bulk Upload’ menu under HOI login in the portal. New Module Mark entry process in Banglar shiksha SMS portal Prerequisite For Marks entry in Banglar shiksha portal Please check the medium(s), which is/are showing in the Medium dropdown in Marks Entry page from Hol login. If there is/are any improper medium(s), please select that/those medium(s) (one by one) and then select the class, section, subject (any) and click on Search button; student's/students' name will be available in the list against the particular medium. Please change the medium of instruction of the student(s) concerned from e-Portal (through 'Update Student's Basic Details' / 'Student's Profile Edit / Download sub-menu under 'Student Management' menu in Hol login) Then click on 'Update Student Details' to synchronise students' information in the SMS portal.If required data is updated in e-Portal, that would also be updated in SMS Portal in this way.
