When will the results of the Higher secondary exam be published?

Results of Higher Secondary Examination 2020 conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher
Secondary Education will be published on 17/07/2020, Friday at 3.30 p.m. through a Press Conference to be held at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council.


When will the Marksheet of Higher secondary be distributed?

All the Heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or their authorised representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution Camps from 2.00 p.m. onwards on 31/07/2020 and issue the same to concerned guardians/candidates as early as possible maintaining proper protocol and social distancing.


When will students know their results?

Students can get their results through the following websites, SMS, Mobile App from 04.00 p.m. on 17th July 2020.

How to know the results of Higher Secondary on ABP Ananda news channel

1.First open the ABP Anand website
           https://bengali.abplive.com


2.Then look at the top left of the site, HS result is written next to the home. Click on it.

3.This will show the name registration form.

Give the roll number by looking at the admit card.
 Select in which branch you have given the exam. 
Give your email ID, mobile number.


4.Click Register Now.

A few days ago, the Hon'ble Minister of Education announced the date of the rest of the Higher Secondary examinations. But in the context of the current situation, he is announcing the cancellation of the HS exam.

How will the students be given the obtained marks?
  1. In the case of the assessment system of the canceled examinations of the Higher Secondary examinations, the maximum of the marks obtained by the student in the written examination of the subjects already completed will be considered as the marks obtained in the written part of the canceled examination.If necessary, the percentage will be calculated on the subject.

  1. If any candidate feels dissatisfied with the manner in which the examinees are being evaluated, then if the situation is normal, only written examination of the remaining subjects will be arranged for those examinees only.The number obtained by the examinee in that examination is final and unchangeable.


  1. West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will take this test only when the situation is normal. Accordingly, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will provide timely examinations to the interested candidates For the exam of the written test will publish the date and specific rules.

When will the highest secondary result be published?

This process will be expedited through the Parliament of Higher Education. An attempt will be made to publish the results of the 2020 Higher Secondary Examination by next July.

  2.  find the “HS Result 2020”
  3. Enter the required credentials required for viewing the result sheet.
  4. Verify and click on the “Submit” button.
  5. Result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. download WBBSE Result 2020.
  7. save and take the print out of the same for future reference.

Considering the distressed situation of the people of the West Bengal due to Covid-19 and
Amphan, the rate of PPR (Post Publication Review) and PPS (Post Publication Scrutiny are
lowered to Rs. 75/- and Rs. 50/- respectively for this academic year. Please note that the online
interface for applying for PPS / PPR will be active from 31 July at midnight. Regulation for
PPS/PPR will be uploaded soon.
