When will the results of the Higher secondary exam be published?

Results of Higher Secondary Examination 2020 conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher
Secondary Education will be published on 17/07/2020, Friday at 3.30 p.m. through a Press Conference to be held at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council.

When will the Marksheet of Higher secondary be distributed?

All the Heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or their authorised representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution Camps from 2.00 p.m. onwards on 31/07/2020 and issue the same to concerned guardians/candidates as early as possible maintaining proper protocol and social distancing.

When will students know their results?

Students can get their results through the following websites, SMS, Mobile App from 04.00 p.m. on 17th July 2020.

How to know the results of Higher Secondary on ABP Ananda news channel

1.First open the ABP Anand website
           https://bengali.abplive.com
2.Then look at the top left of the site, HS result is written next to the home. Click on it.

Give the roll number by looking at the admit card.
 Select in which branch you have given the exam.

A few days ago, the Hon'ble Minister of Education announced the date of the rest of the Higher Secondary examinations. But in the context of the current situation, he is announcing the cancellation of the HS exam.

How will the students be given the obtained marks?
  1. In the case of the assessment system of the canceled examinations of the Higher Secondary examinations, the maximum of the marks obtained by the student in the written examination of the subjects already completed will be considered as the marks obtained in the written part of the canceled examination.If necessary, the percentage will be calculated on the subject.

  1. If any candidate feels dissatisfied with the manner in which the examinees are being evaluated, then if the situation is normal, only written examination of the remaining subjects will be arranged for those examinees only.The number obtained by the examinee in that examination is final and unchangeable.


  1. West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will take this test only when the situation is normal. Accordingly, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will provide timely examinations to the interested candidates For the exam of the written test will publish the date and specific rules.

When will the highest secondary result be published?

This process will be expedited through the Parliament of Higher Education. An attempt will be made to publish the results of the 2020 Higher Secondary Examination by next July.

How to Check WB 12th Result 2020?
The West Bengal Higher Secondary result in 2020 can be checked in the following manner.

  1. Search for the official website of WBBSE Board.
  3.  find the “HS Result 2020”
  4. Enter the required credentials required for viewing the result sheet.
  5. Verify and click on the “Submit” button.
  6. Result will be displayed on the screen.
  7. download WBBSE Result 2020.
  8. save and take the print out of the same for future reference.

Considering the distressed situation of the people of the West Bengal due to Covid-19 and
Amphan, the rate of PPR (Post Publication Review) and PPS (Post Publication Scrutiny are
lowered to Rs. 75/- and Rs. 50/- respectively for this academic year. Please note that the online
interface for applying for PPS / PPR will be active from 31 July at midnight. Regulation for

The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. CASUAL LEAVE for West Bengal PRIMARY SCHOOL Teacher

Primary & High School teachers get different types of leave during their Service life.  The Government has its own circular according to the Department about all those leaves.  As such, the School Education Department (Elementary and Secondary Branch) has a specific memorandum on all leaves, where the Rules & Regulations of all leaves are mentioned.  School Education Department Primary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 453-SE(Pry.), Dated- 04/05/1999 and Secondary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 1541-Edn(S)/21-2/77, Dated-  15/12/1977 and here the Leave Rules of Non-teaching Staff are also mentioned. Medical leave rules and conditions for Employees/teachers in west bengal

👉Any teacher can take Medical Leave for personal illness. 👉Employees will receive 15 days of medical leave for one year. Formula: Suppose a teacher has been in employment for "N"  years since joining. So his total medical leave=(N-1)×15 However, there is an upper limit to medical Leave according to different types of teachers(Primary/upper/HS). Primary Teachers can take maximum 180  days of medical leave until retirement. 👉No medical leave available for 1 year  from the date of joining. 👉The number of medical leave  will be added to the service book. 👉Medical Leave can be affixed or prefixed with long holidays, puja vocation, summer vocation.(But does not apply to casual leave). 👉Medical leave is not an employee's right, like other holidays. 👉No medical certificate will be required if a teacher takes medical leave for 3 consecutive days.But if a teacher takes medical leave for more than 3 consecutive days, it is neces

  10C Section regarding teachers' transfer (Supreme court order) Relief of teachers transferred away in teacher transfer case in Supreme Court.  The court said that before the implementation of Section 10-C of the Teacher Recruitment Act in the state, those employed are not covered by transfer.  During the hearing of this transfer case on Monday, the court asked the state why the working teachers were transferred 200 km away (Kolkata to Murshidabad)?  The court observed, 'There are many women in this profession.  So this is how we are thinking about the transfer. The Supreme Court said as an interim order during the hearing , that the teachers who have been transferred to neighbouring areas can continue teaching.  Rest of those transferred away can wait for further instructions.  However, those who have joined the job after the introduction of Section 10-C, are not getting any relief for now.  The state has been directed to submit an affidavit within the next 4 weeks regarding
