Stenographer Grade-C and Grade-D posts will be recruited through Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Job aspirants can visit the official site of Staff Selection Commission to know the details of recruitment.

Educational Qualification 

Stenographer Grade C

Candidates must have passed Class XII and type in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m). Candidates will be given dictation for 10 minutes.


Stenographer Grade D

Candidates must have passed 12th standard for this post. Candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at a speed of 80 w.p.m.


Age Limit for Job Aspirants

  • Candidates should be between 18-30 years for Stenographer Grade C.

  • Candidates for Stenographer Grade D should be between 18-27 years of age.

______________New Update_______ Intra and inter District Transfer list The first list of all the primary teachers who have applied for transfer to The Commissioner of School Education in Bikash Bhavan since last December, 2021 has been published. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. Clarification regarding eligibility for appearing in TET exam

  Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination  There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court.   Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course.   When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. NCTE issued this notification after this.
