Educational Qualification 

Stenographer Grade C

Candidates must have passed Class XII and type in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m). Candidates will be given dictation for 10 minutes.


Stenographer Grade D

Candidates must have passed 12th standard for this post. Candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at a speed of 80 w.p.m.


Age Limit for Job Aspirants

  • Candidates should be between 18-30 years for Stenographer Grade C.

  • Candidates for Stenographer Grade D should be between 18-27 years of age.

The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. Primary & High School teachers get different types of leave during their Service life.  The Government has its own circular according to the Department about all those leaves.  As such, the School Education Department (Elementary and Secondary Branch) has a specific memorandum on all leaves, where the Rules & Regulations of all leaves are mentioned.  School Education Department Primary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 453-SE(Pry.), Dated- 04/05/1999 and Secondary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 1541-Edn(S)/21-2/77, Dated-  15/12/1977 and here the Leave Rules of Non-teaching Staff are also mentioned. Allowance for polling personnel in West Bengal Assembly elections 2021

  This time the allowance of polling personnel is not increasing in the assembly election. During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the presiding officers had an allowance of Rs 350 per day and the polling officers Rs 250 per day. That allowance is in this assembly election. However, this time Rs 170 will be paid for the cost of food on the day of polling. It is Rs 20 more than before. Polling personnel are naturally upset as the allowance has not been increased. Currently the market price of everything has gone up. The Election Commission has issued a notification regarding the allowance. It has been reported that the polling personnel will get the same rate for the three-day training. There will be two days' allowance for polling. polling personnel will receive money for the day before the vote. A total of five days' money goes to the employee's bank account.
