Rules for teachers' leave in Paray shikshalaya

The "Paray Shikshalaya" program has been running in our state since 7th February. As long as the school program is going on in the neighborhood, can any teacher apply for any kind of leave?


Although there is no notification from the education department yet, an order has been issued from Bankura DPSC, which specifically mentions the issue of leave application of teachers.

It is hoped that similar orders from other DPSCs will be released soon.


Following are the issues mentioned in the order published by Bankura DPSC regarding teachers' leave.





  • Leave should be approved prior to going any kind of leave except maternity leave and leave on medical grounds.


  • CCL & Paternity leave Prayer for the purpose of MP & HS Exams should be approved for 15 days including the date of Exams.


  • Leave applications on Medical ground should be considered as per weightage of the case.


  • In any special ground authority will consider those applications.

It is informed that besides direct online data entry, provision for bulk uploading of data in respect of students’ DCF entry in Banglar Shiksha Portal has now been enabled in a modified excel format which is available in the home page as well as in the ‘Bulk Upload’ menu under HOI login in the portal. Delete or deactivate a student from Banglar shiksha portal

A new module has been added to Banglar Shiksha e-Portal. This new module is called "Delete Student". This module can be used to delete / deactivate a student's ID. In which cases can the "Delete Student" module be used? Duplicate : If a student enters the Banglar Shiksha Portal more than once, the school will have to delete the duplicate id by keeping the correct ID Wrongly Uploaded :  Id is generated with wrong information during data entry of a student in Banglar Shiksha Portal, then the Id of that student has to be deleted or Deactivated. Died:   If a student dies, the student's Id must be deleted or deactivated. How to delete or deactivate a student's Id from Banglar shiksha portal?
