Deputation to the Minister of Education for revision of Ushashree portal

Many teachers are willing to be transferred to their own district. For a long time, general transfer was closed for teachers. Utshashree portal has been launched for online general transfer from August. One of the eligible criteria for Online General Transfer on Utshashree portal is that maximum 10% teachers from a school can apply for online general transfer.

Many junior high school teachers and New setup school teachers are being deprived of applying for online general transfer in those eligible criteria. At present, due to the complexity of Upper primary teacher recruitment, recruitment is closed. A maximum of 5 teachers are approved in a Junior High School and New Setup School. At present there are not enough teachers in Junior High School. After that, working teachers are not getting the opportunity to apply for online general transfer.

The United Teacher's Welfare Association submitted a deputation to the Minister of Education. They demanded that the education department should amend the utshashree portal to give them the opportunity of online general transfer.
