Sub: Organizing "Nirmal Vidyalaya Pakhik 2022"


Sir/Madam,

'Nirmal Vidyalaya Pakhik' is one of the most effective interventions under Nirmal Vidyalaya Abhiyan (NVA). Launched in 2012, the drive has been accorded with high acceptance and ownership by all stakeholders. The purpose of organizing Nirmal Vidyalaya Pakhik is to trigger a positive behavioral change communication process by engaging children as advocates for good practices.


This year too, the School Education Department has decided to observe `Nirmal Vidyalaya Pakhik' in all the Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary schools including SSK, MSK, Madrasah from 15 Sept to 29 Sept 2022. The fortnight shall see awareness drives around WASH in schools and communities led by the teachers and children and supported by the Gram Panchayat. The Guideline and Timeline for observing the same are attached in Annx-I and Annx-II respectively for your kind reference. The districts may start developing the plan on the basis of the guideline.


You are requested to make necessary arrangements for district level meetings with all the key stakeholders as per schedule mentioned in the guideline. You are also requested to ensure nomination of Sit & Draw entries for the district and state level evaluations within stipulated time as mentioned in guideline. The themes for the Sit & Draw competition is mentioned in Annx-III

Online PF for Teacher: NGIPF Registration

The PF account of teachers of every school in West Bengal has been created from DDO.  Next, the school's HoI needs to register on the WBIFMS website .   How to Register for Online PF? Step- 1 Open a Search Engine (ie, Google Chrome browser).  Type 'WBIFMS' in the search bar.  Click on the first link. Step- 2 WBIFMS website will open. The pop-up window of 'West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund ' should be closed on the homepage of this website.  As the pop-up window closes, you will see the 'Secondary school Registration' link at the bottom of this website. Click on this text 'Secondary school Registration'. Step- 3 Online PF Registration page will open. Remember Registration can be done only by HM, TIC or AHM cum TIC. Service book and GPF account transfer Process

In this post I will discuss how to transfer service book and general provident fund account after any kind of transfer of primary teachers. In case of Intra-district, there is no problem with Service Book or gpf Account Transfer. The SI / S of the concerned circle sends the service book to the New circle office through any staff of his office. GPF automatically becomes circle to circle alter as it belongs to the same dpsc. But in case of inter-district, with the transfer of the candidate, all the documents including the service book are sent from the circle office to his existing dpsc Authority. From here it is sent to New dpsc. So in this case all the responsibility is of old dpsc but here it is deliberately delayed, which leads to worries of the candidates.
