e-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility to teacher to download Pay Slip, Income Tax Statement

Good news for teachers of government aided educational institutions in West Bengal. Now all the documents related to salary can be found online. Teachers had long-standing demands.

Teachers of government aided educational institutions will also get various salary related documents online like government employees. The Finance Department has issued a notification in this regard.

Various work related to salaries of government employees is done through the HRMS system. Government employees log on to the HRMS portal and get information about their pay slips, income tax documents, leave and PF. This time teachers will also get this facility.

The HRMS system has been introduced since 2016. Teachers have been repeatedly demanding HRMS benefits. HRMS is finally going to be introduced for teachers.

Extension of 'e-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility to teaching and non-teaching employees of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS sub-module of WBIFMS, West Bengal.


E-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility has already been provided to the State Government employees vide Memo number 4102-F(V) dated 03/08/2016 using which they can view and download Pay Slip, Income Tax Statement etc. Demand for extending the same facility to the employees (both teaching and non teaching) of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS, has been

received by and was under active consideration of the Finance Department, Government of

West Bengal from sometime past.

Now, the Governor has been pleased to extend the 'e-Services for Employees' (SE) facility to all the teaching and non-teaching employees of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS sub-module of WBIFMS, West Bengal, so that they can also use the online facility for their benefit.

  10C Section regarding teachers' transfer (Supreme court order) Relief of teachers transferred away in teacher transfer case in Supreme Court.  The court said that before the implementation of Section 10-C of the Teacher Recruitment Act in the state, those employed are not covered by transfer.  During the hearing of this transfer case on Monday, the court asked the state why the working teachers were transferred 200 km away (Kolkata to Murshidabad)?  The court observed, 'There are many women in this profession.  So this is how we are thinking about the transfer. The Supreme Court said as an interim order during the hearing , that the teachers who have been transferred to neighbouring areas can continue teaching.  Rest of those transferred away can wait for further instructions.  However, those who have joined the job after the introduction of Section 10-C, are not getting any relief for now.  The state has been directed to submit an affidavit within the next 4 weeks regarding

The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly.   A memorandum regarding Admission has been published on 25/11/2020 from School Education Department (W.B.) in Banglar Shiksha Portal. The issues mentioned in this memorandum are briefly discussed here. Admission rules in Schools for Elementary Classes According to the RTE Act 2009, all children between the ages of 6 and 14 must be admitted to a suitable class in a neighborhood school. Primary education, including pre-primary education, will be provided free of charge.   Educational institutions in West Bengal were closed for two years due to the pandemic. It has finally been opened to students in primary schools from February 2022. But the education department has brought a special bridge material to fill the gap of two years of study for the students. This bridge material has the concept of important topics of the previous two classes. This bridge material is named " Shekhar setu" (শেখার সেতু) . Calculate the arrears of DA of West Bengal government employees and teachers

On 20th May, the Calcutta High Court directed the state government to settle the arrears of DA of West Bengal state government employees within 3 months. Now the difference between the DA of state employees and central government employees is 31%.  The Calcutta High Court has given a historic verdict in the DA case. State government employees have returned the smile on their faces. The High Court's decision in the original case was based on the Fifth Pay Commission. The more the central government raises the DA, the more the state government employees lag behind. As a result, the pay gap between central and state government employees has widened. The central government implemented the seventh pay commission from January 1, 2022. Now central government employees are getting 34% DA of their basic salary.
