e-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility to teacher to download Pay Slip, Income Tax Statement

Good news for teachers of government aided educational institutions in West Bengal. Now all the documents related to salary can be found online. Teachers had long-standing demands.

Teachers of government aided educational institutions will also get various salary related documents online like government employees. The Finance Department has issued a notification in this regard.

Various work related to salaries of government employees is done through the HRMS system. Government employees log on to the HRMS portal and get information about their pay slips, income tax documents, leave and PF. This time teachers will also get this facility.

The HRMS system has been introduced since 2016. Teachers have been repeatedly demanding HRMS benefits. HRMS is finally going to be introduced for teachers.

Extension of 'e-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility to teaching and non-teaching employees of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS sub-module of WBIFMS, West Bengal.


E-Services for Employees' (eSE) facility has already been provided to the State Government employees vide Memo number 4102-F(V) dated 03/08/2016 using which they can view and download Pay Slip, Income Tax Statement etc. Demand for extending the same facility to the employees (both teaching and non teaching) of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS, has been

received by and was under active consideration of the Finance Department, Government of

West Bengal from sometime past.

Now, the Governor has been pleased to extend the 'e-Services for Employees' (SE) facility to all the teaching and non-teaching employees of Universities, Grant-in-Aid Colleges and employees of other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, drawing their Pay Bill through HRMS sub-module of WBIFMS, West Bengal, so that they can also use the online facility for their benefit.

Utsashree portal for Online Teacher Transfer

  The West Bengal state government inaugurated a new scheme 'Utshasree' for teachers. Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the new scheme on Thursday (22/07/2021). She said the decision was taken at a cabinet meeting. On the same day, the Chief Minister said, the state is launching a portal called Utsashree. Teachers can apply through this portal if they want to transfer to a school near their home. She did not say when the scheme would be launched. She said, " Utsashree scheme is being launched for teachers. For those who want to transfer to their district or near home. But if ten teachers want to transfer to one place, it is not possible. It has to be adjusted. As I said before, teachers don't have to go far to work..
