The IPL was supposed to be held on 29th March 2020 but was canceled till 15th April due to the epidemic. On 2nd August, BCCI announced that IPL2020 would be held in UAE on 19th September. On 10th August, the Government of India allowed the tournament to be held in UAE.

Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court. Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course. When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court. The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening. The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list. The list has been published following that instruction. Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started. About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions. However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate. Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.
