Teachers' movement demanding transfer

 Jhargram to Paschim Medinipur Teacher Transfers' Movement Most of the teachers in Jhargram have not been transferred to their own block or municipality even after the announcement of Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in 2019. No teacher was transferred from Jhargram to West Midnapore. However, teachers have been transferred from Jhargram to other districts. Primary teachers of Jhargram approached the West Midnapore DPSC on Tuesday(10th November) demanding immediate transfer.  Earlier, they had submitted Deputation to Jhargram.  But they did not get any response from Jhargram DPSC. So, they went to submit the Deputation to Medinipur DPSC. At present there is no chairman in West Midnapore DPSC. However, the primary school inspector Tarun Sarkar is temporarily handling the chairmanship. Primary TET exam 2021

The West Bengal state government wants to appoint primary teachers before the 2021 assembly polls.  On November 11, Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the West Bengal Board of Primary Education would soon start the process of recruitment of primary teachers in the state.  After 2017, job seekers in the state are naturally happy with the announcement of primary teacher appointments. The West Bengal government last took the Primary TET exam in 2015. General Provident Fund in West Bengal

  GPF of state government employees The West Bengal state government has announced interest rates on provident funds for state government employees in Corona.  The interest rate of the Provident Fund from 1st July to 30th September has remained the same for two more months.  The state government has declared the interest rate unchanged till 31th December . According to a notification issued by the state government's finance department, all state government employees will get interest in the provident fund at the rate of 7.1 per cent from 01-10-2020 to 31-12-2020.  Earlier, state government employees received interest at the same rate from July to September. From January 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020, the GPF interest rate was 7.9 percent. From April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020, interest is charged at 8.1 percent per annum on all Provident Accounts under the State Government. GPF interest rate remained unchanged for 9 consecutive months. The applicant should go to ‘https://osms.wbsed.gov.in’ or https://banglarshiksha.gov.in/utsashree/page/intra_ehrms/teacher_transfer_sec/teacher_transfer_login.php to submit his  application for transfer.  Online General Transfer process on Utsashree Portal (Primary School Teacher) The steps required to login to the system mentioned below –  OSMS Type – PRIMARY for primary school teacher.  After selecting OSMS Type then the applicant selects his/her school’s district and circle from drop down menu.  Then he/she can enter his/her unique ‘8 Digit’ employee code.  After that the applicant will be able to give his PAN number.  He/ She needs to enter the captcha code for security reasons.  After verifying all the data, he will get an OTP in his registered email & mobile.  After submitting the OTP to the system, the applicant can successfully log into the system for transfer.
