Primary TET exam 2021



The West Bengal state government wants to appoint primary teachers before the 2021 assembly polls.  On November 11, Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the West Bengal Board of Primary Education would soon start the process of recruitment of primary teachers in the state.  After 2017, job seekers in the state are naturally happy with the announcement of primary teacher appointments.



The West Bengal government last took the Primary TET exam in 2015. In 2016, the state government released the results of the TET exam.  In 2017, the Board of Primary Education issued a notification for the TET examination for the recruitment of new primary teachers.  At that time, about 2.5 lakh candidates had applied for the TET exam.  The Board of Primary Education has not been able to take the TET exam yet due to various complications.  However, 11th November Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made it clear that considering the Corona situation, the Board of Primary Education will soon arrange for offline TET examinations.

Primary TET exams may be taken between January and February.  The Board of Primary Education has already started the work of selecting examination centers for Primary TET examinations across the state.  According to the source, the candidates who have applied for 2017 do not have to apply for Primary TET again.  And for those who did not apply for the Primary TET exam in 2017, there will be an opportunity to apply again.

  10C Section regarding teachers' transfer (Supreme court order) Relief of teachers transferred away in teacher transfer case in Supreme Court.  The court said that before the implementation of Section 10-C of the Teacher Recruitment Act in the state, those employed are not covered by transfer.  During the hearing of this transfer case on Monday, the court asked the state why the working teachers were transferred 200 km away (Kolkata to Murshidabad)?  The court observed, 'There are many women in this profession.  So this is how we are thinking about the transfer. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. Uniform Distribution on Banglar Shiksha Portal

  School Hol Login for Uniform SCMS on Banglar Shiksha Portal In the School Hol login, there would be 'Uniform SCMS' menu at the left menu panel clicking upon which following type of dashboard would appear. Hol in respect of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary Schools has the responsibility to issue work orders in favour of concerned SHG and update the status of the same in the online system. Click on the 'Work Order Issued' tab. List of all tagged SHGs would be available therein.  Then click on 'Submit' button in respect of the concerned SHG for which work order has been issued to update the status as 'Yes'.   A memorandum regarding Admission has been published on 25/11/2020 from School Education Department (W.B.) in Banglar Shiksha Portal. The issues mentioned in this memorandum are briefly discussed here. Admission rules in Schools for Elementary Classes According to the RTE Act 2009, all children between the ages of 6 and 14 must be admitted to a suitable class in a neighborhood school. Primary education, including pre-primary education, will be provided free of charge.   Educational institutions in West Bengal were closed for two years due to the pandemic. It has finally been opened to students in primary schools from February 2022. But the education department has brought a special bridge material to fill the gap of two years of study for the students. This bridge material has the concept of important topics of the previous two classes. This bridge material is named " Shekhar setu" (শেখার সেতু) .
