1. Suggestions received from District Level Team: 


  1. With a view to increase students enrolment, frequent posting on the social media platforms of SED may be made before starting of the admission process for the next session (2024).

  2. Posting of programme specific contents (viz. distribution of bags, shoes, health camp etc.) in the social media platforms of SED.

  3. Innovative ideas from the students, teachers may also be posted.

  4. Selected innovative project works submitted by the students may be posted on the social media platforms of SED for inspiring learners on a large scale.

  5. Certificate of merit / appreciation as received by the students, teachers or the school for their performances in different sphere may also be posted on these platforms.




2. Suggestions received from PWC personnel :


  1. Drive for different campaigns may be made for generating contents to be posted which can make positive impact on the society and increase enrolment also, for example, “My School, My Pride” – Short video documentation (25-30 Sec.) on the students may be prepared by their teachers, where the students will be explaining why they like their school the most, incorporating various aspects like library, laboratory, play ground and other facilities, programmes arranged for them every year etc..

  • Maximum Text Length: 63,206 characters.

  • Recommended Image Size: 1200 x 630 pixels.

  • Photo Post:

    • Recommended Image Size: 1080 x 1920 pixels for both photos and videos.

    • Maximum Video Length: 15 seconds.


Technical specifications regarding twitter (X) postings


  • Character Limit: A standard tweet can contain up to 280 characters. 


  • Media Attachments: You can attach up to four photos or one GIF or one video per tweet. The images should be in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format, and videos should be in MP4 format.


  • Video Length: Videos can be up to 2 minutes and 20 seconds in length when uploaded directly to Twitter.


  • Aspect Ratio for Images and Videos: Twitter recommends a 16:9 aspect ratio for both images and videos. This ensures the best display on most devices.


  • Link Shortening: Twitter automatically shortens URLs using its t.co domain to save characters in your tweet.

1. Functions of the District Level Team : 


  1. Generating awareness among the schools in the district concerned.

  2. Identification of best schools having regular activities.

  3. Finalization of one nodal teacher from each of the selected schools.

  4. Collection of data (Photos, AVs, Paper cutting, Success stories etc.) from the nodal teachers regularly.

  5. Scrutiny of the documents collected from the nodal teachers.

  6. Verification of Success stories/Facts & Figures etc..

  7. Drafting of presentable format as per prescribed specification.

  8. Sending verified / scrutinised documents to the State Level Team at socialmediased@gmail.com.
