On the initiative of Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, for the convenience of the students in the situation arising out of this pandemic, the Banglar shiksha Durabhash is being re-launched through telephone from 17 January 2022.


Under the auspices of the Department of School Education and under the auspices of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, experienced teachers will answer any question regarding the reading of students of all classes of the school by phone.

Every school in West Bengal is closed indefinitely due to the 2020 epidemic. But the West Bengal government has made good arrangements for the distribution of mid-day meal(MDM) items considering the needs of the students. For this, every teacher and parent has thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal. Government order Memo. Clarification regarding eligibility for appearing in TET exam

  Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination  There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court.   Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course.   When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. NCTE issued this notification after this.
