Emergency instructions of Banglar shiksha portal

Verify school basic details (with special emphasis on medium of instruction) and contact with concerned Circle level SI/S (for Schools & Madrasahs) / Block level Samiti Education Officer (for SSK/MSK) for any update.

Assembly Constituency, Parliamentary Constituency, Sub-division, Secondary and Higher Secondary level affiliating Board / Council details, Index No. / HS Code, etc. need to be updated in school basic details.

Complete pending promotion/detention, if any, before further activities.

Complete transfer process, if pending for any of the students in respect of any class.

Students' data entry is to be ensured for such students who don't have a unique ID under the purview of Banglar Shiksha.

It is to be noted that until & unless students' data available in respect of concerned class in the current academic session, the students concerned would not be eligible to be

treated as beneficiary in respect of any kind of incentive.

Update parents' name from 'Update student basic details' menu in Hol login for the students whose father's name and/or mother's name is/are missing in the portal.

Update incomplete students' profiles through 'Students' Profile Edit/Download' submenu under 'Student Management menu.

Update student's medium as per mediums of instruction available in the school. Medium wise students' count is available at "Medium wise enrolment report sub-menu under Student Management menu.

'Transfer in' will not be possible if the gender is otherwise not admissible in the concerned school (boys in girls' school and girls in boys' school). Please update the gender of that student from the TC generating school using 'Update student basic details sub-menu under 'Student Management' menu.

Transfer in' will not be possible if any previously transferred out student (remaining in drop box) whose parents' data is not updated wants to take admission in any school. In that event, parents' data will have to be updated from the TC generating school using

Update student basic details'.

For terminal classes, students may be transferred out through the promotion/detention module.TC/SLC will be generated in bulk (in PDF). If any rectification needed in respect

of any student after generation of TC, please update the required fields for the concerned student using 'Update student basic details and regenerate the TC/SLC. Then it will be available in corrected form.

In case of Higher Secondary Schools, class-X students should be transferred out after processing through promotion/detention module (School Exam & Board Exam respectively). In that case, TC may be generated in PDF) in bulk.

If any CC (detained)/sent-up student needs to be passed out the student code may be Unlocked' from the end of the concerned SI/S so as to process through promotion/detention' and accordingly pass him/her out.

If any CC (detained)/sent-up student needs to be regularized in the next academic session, the student (code) may be converted as regular from the end of the concerned SI/S.

All types of activities need to be performed very carefully. After finalization of data, it cannot be restored to its previous state. Hol will be responsible for finalization of wrong

data.
