Primary teachers demand transfer to their own district

 The statement of the teacher leader who is agitating for the transfer of primary teachers to own district


As per the announcement of Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, 6,000 out of 10,000 primary school teachers have been transferred to their home districts, but the rest of the primary school teachers have not been transferred to their home districts yet. They are not getting any benefit of online general transfer for various eligible criteria in Utsashree portal.

Many teachers' organizations have been agitating for the transfer of primary teachers to their districts.

Teachers in Paschim Medinipur who have their own home, but are working in Jhargram, have not yet had the opportunity to transfer to their own district.

Primary & High School teachers get different types of leave during their Service life.  The Government has its own circular according to the Department about all those leaves.  As such, the School Education Department (Elementary and Secondary Branch) has a specific memorandum on all leaves, where the Rules & Regulations of all leaves are mentioned.  School Education Department Primary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 453-SE(Pry.), Dated- 04/05/1999 and Secondary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 1541-Edn(S)/21-2/77, Dated-  15/12/1977 and here the Leave Rules of Non-teaching Staff are also mentioned. Clarification regarding eligibility for appearing in TET exam

  Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination  There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court.   Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course.   When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. NCTE issued this notification after this. The applicant should go to ‘https://osms.wbsed.gov.in’ or https://banglarshiksha.gov.in/utsashree/page/intra_ehrms/teacher_transfer_sec/teacher_transfer_login.php to submit his  application for transfer.  Online General Transfer process on Utsashree Portal (Primary School Teacher) The steps required to login to the system mentioned below –  OSMS Type – PRIMARY for primary school teacher.  After selecting OSMS Type then the applicant selects his/her school’s district and circle from drop down menu.  Then he/she can enter his/her unique ‘8 Digit’ employee code.  After that the applicant will be able to give his PAN number.  He/ She needs to enter the captcha code for security reasons.  After verifying all the data, he will get an OTP in his registered email & mobile.  After submitting the OTP to the system, the applicant can successfully log into the system for transfer.
