Deactivate a student from Banglar Shiksha portal

A module has been added to the Banglar Shiksha portal to deactivate a student of a school who has dropped out of school or has been absent from school for a long time or has been admitted to another school or has migrated or died.


How to deactivate a student from banglar shiksha portal.




Step- 1


  • go to the ‘Student Management’ Menu'.  


  • go to ‘Student Deactivation’ sub-menu.


Step- 2


  • Enter the student code at ‘Search Student for Deactivation’ . The following screenshot has been displayed in this regard.

Step- 3


  • Click on the ‘Search’ button, you will see the student’s details. The following screenshot has been displayed in this regard.

Please carefully follow the WARRING message which is above the student’s details before deactivating student’s data from HOI end.


Step-4


  • Select the relevant reason for deactivation of the student’s data from drop down list.

Drop down of reason for deactivation

  • Not readmitted

  • Not attended school since long

  • Admitted in other management school

  • Migrated

  • Died

  • Vocational Student(WBSCTVE&SD)

  • Voluntarily refused to receive tab




  • After selecting the reason, click on the ‘Deactivate’ button.

  • Then, click on ‘OK’ button and you will see the message ‘Deactivation Successful’. Following screenshot has been displayed in this regard.

Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.  Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers. Finally, the Madhyamik Exam result is going to be published. If all goes well, the Honorable President of the board will announce the Madhyamik Exam result in a virtual conference tomorrow(15/07/2020) at 10 am. Madhyamik Exam started on 18/02/2020 and ended on 27/02/2020. Madhyamik Exam results will be published on 15/07/2020. The casual leave rules are described below.... 👉1. A teacher can take up to 14 days of casual leave in any academic year. If a teacher is appointed during the academic year or retires, his / her casual leave in that academic year will be calculated according to the following formula..... 👉2. Teacher can take up to 7 days of casual leave on a continuous basis(May be inclusive Sunday and others Holidays). But, C.L.=7-(Sunday/Holidays) Suppose a teacher is absent from school from April 2nd to 5th. Of his seven days absence, one day is Sunday and one is Holiday. Thus, his casual leave =7-2=5 👉3.
