  10C Section regarding teachers' transfer (Supreme court order) Relief of teachers transferred away in teacher transfer case in Supreme Court.  The court said that before the implementation of Section 10-C of the Teacher Recruitment Act in the state, those employed are not covered by transfer.  During the hearing of this transfer case on Monday, the court asked the state why the working teachers were transferred 200 km away (Kolkata to Murshidabad)?  The court observed, 'There are many women in this profession.  So this is how we are thinking about the transfer.
