Primary TET 2022 Exam

 Ad Hoc Committee meeting on 23/09/2022 decided to conduct Primary TET Examination in West Bengal during the month of December 2022.


 When will the Primary TET 2022 Exam be held?  

The president of the primary education board (WBBPE) will meet with the education minister.  Then it will be decided when the primary TET exam will be held.  Recommended by Ad Hoc Committee.



Good news for primary teacher job aspirants.  This year the good news of government jobs came before Puja.


 Gautam Pal, president of the Primary Education Board, announced this in a press conference on 26th September.  He said that the Primary Teacher's Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted on December 11.  Along with that, the recruitment process of candidates who have already passed TET will continue.  There are more than 11000 vacancies available for it.  Notification will be published before Puja.  Online portal for TET exam application and recruitment interview—for both fields will open after Lakshmi Puja.


Council president Gautam Pal said that the teacher recruitment process will start soon.  Right now there are 11000 vacancies.  At present the appointments have to be filled from this sector as per the orders of the court.  In that case the number of vacancies may decrease slightly.  However, if the government approves to fill up the vacancies twice a year, then the board is ready to make appointments both times.  Not only that, TET exam will be conducted in 2023 as well.  Gautambabu has assured that even though there is some delay in the recruitment, finally the TET passers and those trained will get jobs.


At the same time, he said, the recruitment process will fully follow the rules of NCTE.  Recruitment will be done on the basis of full transparency.  Break-up marks of merit list candidates will be published.  The entire process including interviews will be videographed.  There will be no opacity anywhere.  We also will recruit twice a year.  But TET will be conducted once every year.

  10C Section regarding teachers' transfer (Supreme court order) Relief of teachers transferred away in teacher transfer case in Supreme Court.  The court said that before the implementation of Section 10-C of the Teacher Recruitment Act in the state, those employed are not covered by transfer.  During the hearing of this transfer case on Monday, the court asked the state why the working teachers were transferred 200 km away (Kolkata to Murshidabad)?  The court observed, 'There are many women in this profession.  So this is how we are thinking about the transfer.   School Hol Login for Uniform SCMS on Banglar Shiksha Portal In the School Hol login, there would be 'Uniform SCMS' menu at the left menu panel clicking upon which following type of dashboard would appear. Hol in respect of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary Schools has the responsibility to issue work orders in favour of concerned SHG and update the status of the same in the online system. Click on the 'Work Order Issued' tab. List of all tagged SHGs would be available therein.  Then click on 'Submit' button in respect of the concerned SHG for which work order has been issued to update the status as 'Yes'. Following type of screen would appear in this regard. After getting delivery of the school uniforms, concerned Hol of Upper Primary / Secondary / Higher Secondary School has the responsibility to acknowledge the same in the online system.
