NOTIFICATION


In continuation to this Department Notification No.3640-F(P2) dated 26.11.2021 the Governor is pleased to declare 11th August, 2022 (Thursday) as a holiday on account of "Rakhi Bandhan" festival for the State Government Offices, Local Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Boards, Corporations and Undertakings controlled or owned by State Government, and in Educational Institutions and in other offices /Institutions under the control of Government of West Bengal with the exception of the offices of Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata, Collector of Stamp Revenue, Kolkata.

List of 269 primary teachers

  The list of 269 primary school teachers dismissed by the High Court directive. The Calcutta High Court directed the CBI investigation in the corruption case in the appointment of primary teachers. 269 Primary Teachers have been dismissed from jobs. Based on the 2014 primary TET, the second recruitment list of the primary education board published in 2017, the Calcutta High Court said it was illegal. According to that list, 269 were appointed. If there is/are any improper medium(s), please select that/those medium(s) (one by one) and then select the class, section, subject (any) and click on Search button; student's/students' name will be available in the list against the particular medium. Please change the medium of instruction of the student(s) concerned from e-Portal (through 'Update Student's Basic Details' / 'Student's Profile Edit / Download sub-menu under 'Student Management' menu in Hol login) Then click on 'Update Student Details' to synchronise students' information in the SMS portal.If required data is updated in e-Portal, that would also be updated in SMS Portal in this way. Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 and 11-12

Merit list of SSC SLST 9-10 The School Service Commission (SSC) has published the revised merit list for the appointment of SLST 9-10 teachers on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.  The merit list was released on the Commission's website on Thursday evening.  The High Court had set a deadline of July 15 for the publication of this merit list.  The list has been published following that instruction.  Incidentally, in 2018, the process of recruitment of SLST IX-X teachers started.  About 11,800 vacancies were filled in seven counselling sessions.  However, the merit list published by the commission at that time did not include the name, ethnic identity and rank of the candidate.  Some of the candidates on the waiting list had filed a case in the Calcutta High Court challenging that.  Following the case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the SSC to publish the merit list with names and numbers.
