 New Rule SLTST


On 21st December, 2020, WBSCC issued a Notice to apply the rules for recruitment of Assistant Teachers.  Although the Kolkata Gazette's Notice has a date of 26th February, 2020.

  West Bengal schools have been reopened after two years due to the epidemic. The Department of Education has come up with a special bridge material textbook to fill the gap of two years of study. Shekhar Setu(শেখার সেতু) bridge material textbook for pre-primary to fifth grade students. Pathan setu (পঠন সেতু) bridge material textbook for students of class VI to VIII. ______________New Update_______ Intra and inter District Transfer list The first list of all the primary teachers who have applied for transfer to The Commissioner of School Education in Bikash Bhavan since last December, 2021 has been published. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. Clarification regarding eligibility for appearing in TET exam

  Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination  There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court.   Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course.   When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. NCTE issued this notification after this. Content of notification for SCHEDULE OF SUMMATIVE EVALUATIONS / SELECTION TEST FOR M.P(S.E) FROM CLASS VI-X  As directed, the Heads of all recognised Schools under WBBSE are being informed that all schools must follow the following schedule of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Summative Evaluations for the academic session 2022 and Selection Test for M.P.(S.E),2023. Each and every school must prepare the question papers of their own and mention the name of the Institution at the top of the question paper . Head of the Institutions of all the schools recognised by WBBSE are earnestly requested to mandatorily adhere to the division of syllabi, distribution of marks and model structure of sample questions given in the website while framing the summative question papers for class VI-X. The summative question paper should be formulated keeping the expected learning outcomes in mind.
