Number of applicants on Utsashree portal in August

The Utsashree portal was launched a month ago. Teachers started applying for transfers through the Utsashree portal from 2nd August. The state school education department has launched the Utsashree portal to transfer teachers to schools near their homes. The facility for online teacher transfers was officially inaugurated on July 31 by Education Minister Bratya Basu. In two stages (primary and secondary) teachers, non-teaching stuffs and head teachers will have access to General Transfer and Mutual Transfer through utsashree portal.

According to the school education department, more than 2,000 teachers have already been transferred in the first phase. According to the school education department, 22317 applications have been received so far for the secondary level transfer. Of which 19920 teachers have applied for general transfer. 469 head teachers have applied for general transfers. 1423 non-teaching stuffs have applied for general transfer. However, the number of applications for mutual transfers is much lower. So far, the Board of Secondary Education has issued transfer orders for 895 people. Of these, 874 teachers and 13 head teachers have been issued , according to the school education department.
