 🏫 Mutual Transfer of Primary Teachers through UTSASHREE Portal Latest Update from West Bengal Board of Primary Education – July 2025 The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has announced a significant update regarding the mutual transfer of primary teachers through the UTSASHREE Portal. In reference to the School Education Department’s Memo No. 430-Sc/G dated 17.06.2025, a revised mechanism has been introduced to simplify the transfer process. 🔄 What’s New? As per a video conference held on 25th June 2025, attended by district-level education officials, the following steps have been implemented: ✅ All applications submitted earlier for mutual transfer have now been unlocked. ✅ These applications have been returned to the applicants for further action. ✅ Each applicant must now upload the Confirmation Order issued by their respective District Primary School Council. ✅ Additional steps, if required, should be completed by the concerned teachers and councils. 📢 Action Required ...

Bulk Upload on Banglar Shiksha Portal

It is informed that besides direct online data entry, provision for bulk uploading of data in respect of students’ DCF entry in Banglar Shiksha Portal has now been enabled in a modified excel format which is available in the home page as well as in the ‘Bulk Upload’ menu under HOI login in the portal. New Module Mark entry process in Banglar shiksha SMS portal Prerequisite For Marks entry in Banglar shiksha portal Please check the medium(s), which is/are showing in the Medium dropdown in Marks Entry page from Hol login. If there is/are any improper medium(s), please select that/those medium(s) (one by one) and then select the class, section, subject (any) and click on Search button; student's/students' name will be available in the list against the particular medium. Please change the medium of instruction of the student(s) concerned from e-Portal (through 'Update Student's Basic Details' / 'Student's Profile Edit / Download sub-menu under 'Student Management' menu in Hol login) Then click on 'Update Student Details' to synchronise students' information in the SMS portal.If required data is updated in e-Portal, that would also be updated in SMS Portal in this way. Primary & High School teachers get different types of leave during their Service life.  The Government has its own circular according to the Department about all those leaves.  As such, the School Education Department (Elementary and Secondary Branch) has a specific memorandum on all leaves, where the Rules & Regulations of all leaves are mentioned.  School Education Department Primary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 453-SE(Pry.), Dated- 04/05/1999 and Secondary Branch Leave Notification Memo Number is 1541-Edn(S)/21-2/77, Dated-  15/12/1977 and here the Leave Rules of Non-teaching Staff are also mentioned. ______________New Update_______ Intra and inter District Transfer list The first list of all the primary teachers who have applied for transfer to The Commissioner of School Education in Bikash Bhavan since last December, 2021 has been published. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. Marks entry in Banglar shiksha SMS portal and server problem

  State Education Department has extended the deadline for Model Activity Compilation (Final) 2021 marks entry on Banglar shiksha SMS portal. Marks of final activity task of Banglar shiksha e-portal from class I to class IX have been extended by one week. December 15th was the last day to upload student numbers. Which has been increased to 23 December by the school education department. Teachers were repeatedly complaining that they were having difficulty in entering marks due to server down of sms portal. Although the deadline for entry of marks in the SMS portal has been extended, but still no teacher is able to login to the SMS portal. As a result, they are not able to enter marks in the SMS portal. It is not yet known from the education department how long it will take to solve the problem of the portal.
