  The Election Commission of India has arranged special training for the polling personnel for the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections. But many polling personnel cannot learn everything properly in this training. If all those polling personnel are asked how you will do your duty during polling, almost all of them have the same answer that I will get everything from Ram Dawn's YouTube tutorial.   West Bengal schools have been reopened after two years due to the epidemic. The Department of Education has come up with a special bridge material textbook to fill the gap of two years of study. Shekhar Setu(শেখার সেতু) bridge material textbook for pre-primary to fifth grade students. Pathan setu (পঠন সেতু) bridge material textbook for students of class VI to VIII. Due to the pandemic, schools in West Bengal were closed for a long time. Normal reading has been reintroduced in schools. Instructions have come from the Board of Secondary Education for Summative evaluation 2022 in high schools . ______________New Update_______ Intra and inter District Transfer list The first list of all the primary teachers who have applied for transfer to The Commissioner of School Education in Bikash Bhavan since last December, 2021 has been published. The instructions in this list are as follows: "The Undersigned is directed to inform that the School Education Department in principle has no objection to the inter/intra district transfer of the Primary School Teachers as included in the attached list(s). The concerned authorities are hereby requested to take necessary action accordingly. In case of any discrepancy, the Chairpersons of the District Primary School Council and the District Inspectors of Schools (Primary Education) shall bring it to the notice of the School Education Department. An action taken report has to be positively sent to this end within a week. This has the approval of the appropriate authority. This matter should be treated as MOST URGENT." Click here ...

Clarification regarding eligibility for appearing in TET exam

  Those enrolled in the Teacher Training Course (TTC) are eligible to appear in the TET examination  There is no compulsion to appear in the final year or TET exam result. Any such student admitted to a teacher training course will be considered in the 'PURSUING' category. NCTE has issued a notification citing the order passed by the Supreme Court.   Till now students were considered eligible to take the TET exam only when they reached the final semester / year. That rule is changing, though. From now on you can sit for the TET exam only after enrolling in the course.   When this was litigated in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court gave a broader interpretation to the term 'PURSUING'. NCTE issued this notification after this. Now students can take TET only after enrolling in teacher training course.   Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government in their TET exam notification said that those who are undergoing training can apply for the TET exam.
